Dermatage charges $79 plus for false free sample
Apr 26, 2008
Dermitage complaint by Rkrane
Dermatage is ripping off people. I saw an add for a sample of their eye and skin care products which promised to lift. I paid $3.99 shipping for the sample with my credit card.

The next time I looked I had an additional $79.00 charge on my credit card. When I called them, they said it was my fault as I was supposed to call in two weeks and say I did not like it. They refused to reimburse me.

Beware of false charges and their product does not work anyway. Do not click on agree unless you read every detail.

Dermatage is a SCAM! They are a pack of thieves! If they charge your credit card or bank account, don't call them...call your bank or CC company and file a claim. It's the only way you'll get a full refund. They never allow the 14 day trial period to end before charging your account. And then they tell you it's your fault. I never even got my shipment and they had charged me. When I told them, they offered to reship. I told them I didn't want their product, I wanted my money...then I went straight to my bank.

After receiving free sample of Dermatage I tried to cancel my orders within the 14 day limit and could never get an answer. Or when I did their system was down. I checked my credit card and there is the charge $89.95. I was very angry. $69.95 product $20.00 shipping. I finally got someone today after a dozen tries. They say I can return the product for a refund. Who knows what will happen. I've requested the charge be removed from my credit card. Don't know if it will. I still don't have the product to return to them.

I ordered what I thought was a 14 day free sample even though I paid $3.99 for it. They said even if you return the container empty you could still cancel and your account would not be charged if you called on the 14 day. Well I did and they informed that my account had already been charged $89.95,even though they were closed on Sunday. Also if I return it they will charge me $19.95 for restocking fee. They siad they could not issue my account any credit. They are nothing but a bunch of crooks. We need to spread the word.

I tried the free trial 6 months ago because I just had slight puffiness and a bit redness under my eyes due to crying and after wearing contact lenses for 2 weeks and working with computer. After just 1 night application and 1 morning application (I used all 3 products - one for dark circle, one for anti wrinkle, & 1 for eyelashes) with the right amount as directed in the box, my under eye skin got pulled soooo tight and it gave me lines under my eyes. I stopped using it right away. It's been 6 months now as I wait and wait for my skin to go back to normal, but instead my under eye became more and more crepey, wrinkled, puffy, and dark like i have never seen my eyes like this before. My skin had loosen up, but my under eye just became weird looking and very unattractive. My eyes just never gone back to the way it was before. Now I have to wear concealer everywhere.

I am so madd and frustrated. Anybody experience any bad effects after using the eye treatment? On their website, they are out of stocks on this eye product. I wonder why, maybe it has caused harm instead of good to the customers.

I am definitely a victiom of dermitage. They stated on the website saying the cream works for en even very sensitive skin. i don't think so. Can anybody let me know that I'm not the only one experiencing this?

I just ordered this free sample, and accidently clicked ok before I got done reading the note about automatically shipping it in x amount of time, etc. I tried to go back but the page had expired. Can anyone help me find a phone number so that when I get it, if I dont like it I can call to cancel before I get charged too?! PLEASE HELP!!
